Visited with children affected by HIV
On Wednesday, the final day of her visit to Kuala Lumpur, Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Mette-Marit visited with the 12 young residents of a childrens home run by the Malaysian AIDS Council. The children and young people living at the home are either HIV positive themselves or have lost their parents to AIDS.
Presented Norwegian efforts on women's health
On the second day of her visit to Kuala Lumpur, Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Mette-Marit took part in two panel discussions on womens health. The Crown Princess is in Malaysia in connection with the conference Women Deliver.
Officially opened OECD Week
His Royal Highness Crown Prince Haakon travelled to Paris on 2728 May to visit the headquarters of UNESCO and to participate in the OECD Forum, which is held each year in conjunction with the OECD Ministerial Council Meeting. This years forum is entitled Its All About People: Jobs, Equality and Trust, and the meeting is being chaired by Norway.
Visit to Kuala Lumpur underway
Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Mette-Marit has travelled to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia to take part in the global conference Women Deliver on 28-30 May. At a youth pre-conference on 27 May, the Crown Princess discussed womens issues with young leaders.
