Cold response 2007
Today His Majesty King Harald inspected the military exercise referred to as “Cold Response 2007”.
Over 8,500 soldiers from 18 nations, including a division from His Majesty The King’s Guard, are participating in the exercise in northern Norway.
Two key objectives of the exercise are to enhance the ability of the participating forces to master full-scale crisis management procedures under winter conditions and to develop interoperability between multinational forces.

His Majesty King Willem-Alexander is in Norway to explore solutions for green hydrogen and future energy systems. His Royal Highness Crown Prince Haakon is accompanying the King of the Netherlands during parts of the visit.
