Celebration of HM King Harald's 70th birthday
The celebration of the 70th birthday of His Majesty King Harald on 21 February 2007 will begin with a service in Trefoldighets Church.
Later that day, a special event will be held in the Palace Gardens and the programme will conclude with a dinner at Akershus Castle. Due to space limitations, there will be press pools indoors.
Following the official celebration on 21 February, several events will take place 23-25 February to which the Heads of State of the other Nordic countries and members of other European Royal Houses are invited. On Saturday 24 February, a ball will be held at the Royal Palace.

Crown Prince visits Jamaica
Sustainable solutions for the ocean, climate, and poverty are the main topics as His Royal Highness Crown Prince Haakon visits Jamaica this week with UNDP. The Crown Prince is a goodwill ambassador for UNDP.
The King of the Netherlands in Norway
His Majesty King Willem-Alexander is in Norway to explore solutions for green hydrogen and future energy systems. His Royal Highness Crown Prince Haakon is accompanying the King of the Netherlands during parts of the visit.
